VPS Hosting FAQ

Common questions about our VPS hosting services.

What is a VPS?
A Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a virtualized server that acts like a dedicated server within a shared hosting environment. You get guaranteed CPU, RAM, and storage resources with full root access, giving you complete control over your server configuration.
What is the difference between shared and dedicated vCPUs?
Shared vCPU plans share physical CPU cores with other tenants — ideal for most workloads with variable CPU usage. Dedicated vCPU plans (Cloud Elite) guarantee exclusive access to physical CPU cores, providing consistent performance for sustained high-CPU workloads like databases or CI/CD pipelines.
Which operating systems can I install?
We offer a wide range of Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Fedora, Rocky Linux, Arch Linux, and openSUSE. All OS images are free. ARM servers (CAX series) require ARM-compatible images.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, all VPS plans include enterprise-grade DDoS protection at no extra cost. Our network infrastructure automatically detects and mitigates volumetric attacks to keep your server online.
What network speed do I get?
All VPS plans include 20 TB of traffic per month with high-speed network connectivity. Servers are connected to premium tier-1 networks across all data center locations.
Where are your data centers located?
We operate across 6 data center locations: Falkenstein (DE), Nuremberg (DE), Helsinki (FI), Ashburn (US), Hillsboro (US), and Singapore (SG). You can choose your preferred location when ordering.
