How To Join Your DayZ Server

DayZ is an intense survival-horror experience set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. Running your own server lets you team up with — or battle against — your friends in this unforgiving landscape.
Before connecting, make sure you have your server IP address ready.
Joining Your Server via Direct Connect
Make sure to launch the correct version of the game — use DayZ Experimental if that's what your server runs, or standard DayZ for Stable servers.
- Open DayZ or DayZ Experimental, matching whichever version your server is running.
- Go to the SERVERS tab in the launcher and click Direct Connect.
- Enter your server's IP address, port, and password (if one is set), then click Connect.
That's all there is to it — you're now connected to your DayZ server and ready to play.
